2.01 What Are The Chances?

'Where is this place?', 'Why am I here', V awoke in panic. The bedroom she awoke in was unfamiliar, square rather than rectangular, the bed was different, the walls where the right color, but the wrong shape. The carpet was different. 'Those are mine, I remember those', she thought, spotting her guitars.

Venice reached for the nearest guitar, and plucked a few notes, the music somewhat calming her fears. She looked out of the nearest window, and recognized the house, and letting her gaze wander, she spotted the garden. 'That is definitely familiar!', Venice thought, her panic subsiding as she wandered out in her sleepwear.

Casey was sitting by the pool, contemplating how she might cope if her child was also a werewolf, when she spotted Venice opening the garden fence gate. Casey slowly climbed out of the deckchair, and went to say greet Venice. Casey loved Venice like she loved her own mother, but with V's memory issues, some days could be a real challenge.

"I'm so fat and disgusting!", Casey moaned again, as the ever increasing baby bump was making every action feel like a chore. "No, you are as beautiful as ever", chided Marcus, "but you are definitely getting bigger, you look like you have a baby hippo tucked into your shirt!", Marcus joked.

"You're horrible and I hate you!" Casey grumped, unenthusiastically, as she threw a cushion at Marcus. "I am, aren't I!", Marcus replied, leaning over and kissing his wife as he returned the cushion.

"What if it is a werewolf?", Casey asked Marcus one day, "Honestly, I wouldn't care if our baby was a witch, a werewolf, a fairy, or even a vampire, just as long as he or she isn't a spaghetti monster!", Marcus quipped. Casey was disappointed to find no cushions readily available. "Our baby will get just as much love from us, as we have for each other, and I know you will be a great mother despite your concerns.", Marcus explained as her reached for her.

Casey had to make regular trips to the supermarket, she had constant cravings for Mac n Cheese. She didn't even particularly Mac n cheese, but apparently the baby did.

With Casey pregnant, Marcus had started work on his career as a self employed author, he was originally trying to decide between Sci-Fi, Satire, and Fantasy, but approaching fatherhood changed all that to the decision to write children's books.

"Seriously, I think it might be twins.", Casey told Marcus one night, as they were leaving for a dinner outing. "Either that, or the baby will grow up to be a drummer in a speed metal band!" she added.
Marcus placed his hand on her stomach, "Hrmm.", said Marcus, "Either that, or we are going to have a baby rhino in the family!". Casey regretted not carrying a spare cushion.

"Wow, you look volcanic type hot in that outfit!, it's been hanging in the wardrobe for months but I've never seen you wear it before!" Marcus exclaimed, "And you look hot in my bike boots too!", he added. "I never had big enough boobs to fill it out before!", Casey explained, "My feet and ankles are swollen, so don't expect your boots back anytime soon!"

'Definately twins!' Marcus thought excitedly, when Casey announced she was going to float in the pool after complaining about her size, yet again. He put down his writing ideas book, and gazed at her adoringly. "I can't wait for the trumpeting of our baby elephant.", Marcus joked. "Fetch me a cushion!" Casey growled softly, "No wait, fetch me two for that comment!". "As you wish!", Marcus smiled.

"Urgh, stuck...I can't get in, and I can't get up... MARCUS!!!", Casey yelled.

'I though morning sickness is for mornings, not mornings, mid day, afternoon and evenings!', Casey grumped to herself. She stepped out of the kitchen onto the balcony, were most of the family painted.
She decided that one of Venice early paintings was her favorite. 'With Marcus by my side, I could raise babies, even if they were spaghetti monsters!' Casey decided.

Casey worked hard on killing her inner demons, and chaining those she couldn't. Marcus was her knight in shining armor, and with his help, she was going to be a good mother, a better person, a happier person she explained to Lillibear. She was going to be a mother any day now, and she was going to have perfect children with the perfect man!

Marcus had asked her to look after the bear that his mother's lover had gifted to him on the day he was born, and Lillibear was always around for Casey to talk to about her fears and insecurities when they reared their ugly heads.

Marcus was swimming laps in the pool, despite the chances were normally low for triplets, Casey was a triplet, and Marcus had never seen a pregnant sim as large as his wife.

Marcus climbed out of the pool. "What about Dominic and Nikita?" Casey asked. "I like both of them, let's add those names to our list! Although maybe we should add Moby, as you look big enough to spawn a whale!", Marcus jibed quickly before Casey had the chance to complain about her size. Casey frowned. Marcus quickly said "I love you Casey!", thinking his twisted sense of humor may have just made a bad judgement call.

Casey, seeing a lack of readily available cushions to throw, was temped to push Marcus back into the pool. "I love you, even when you are rotund, even when you are grumpy, even when you steal my bike boots!", Marcus clarified.

"IT'S TIME, IT'S TIME!!", screamed Casey. "Wouldn't it be best if I drove?",Marcus asked, possibly being the first male sim ever to not panic at the time of childbirth.

Casey exited the hospital with her first born, while Marcus signed paperwork.

When Marcus and Casey arrived home with the babies, Lilliana had already been shopping for all of the extra things that would be required.

"These are your grandchildren!", Marcus said, introducing their new children to Venice. "That's Dylan, this is Natalie, and Lilli is holding Dominic.", Marcus stated, introducing his children in birth order, despite their being less than three minutes difference between them all. "Ahhh, Grandbabies, Wonderful!" Venice cooeed, hoping she could remember their names.

Marcus and Casey put the newborn triplets to put, and prepared for what was most likely to be their last good nights sleep for a long while.

Chapter Notes:

Casey has been rolling cat wishes like crazy, her family tree shows only her mother as a dog person, there is no animal lover, or cat person to be seen.

My craptop is causing an infuriatingly long list of lags, crashes and delays in both gaming, and story writing.

*ROLL SPOILER* - I used NRAAS MC to check on her pregnancy chances, she showed 2000% for twins, and 40% for triplets. The roll was for three kids, and while I was hoping for triples, I assumed I was going to get twins, and then a younger child later. I did give both the Fertility LTR as soon as they could afford it, and used Romantic Massage to boost their chances, before woohooing in every location in the house..twice. I'm a dirty old man, what can I say :P
