It's not as if the babies were old enough to read yet anyway.
Marcus ended up at the library, he knew he wanted his books to teach children important things, as well as be entertaining. His skill as a painter also meant he could do his own illustrations. Marcus bumped into Sabrina Hunter-Jonas at the library. She was all friendly and bragging about her husband Topher who was in politics. Marcus politely nodded a few times before making an escape. Sabrina had ignored him all through school, except that one time that she was the witch-bitch from hell. Why was she acting like his best friend know? Some sims!
Marcus had intended to creep out the back door, but Lena Snickets was there, Lena was from a stable family of ghosts, who had been living in a house in Elba for many years, not like most of the ghosts in Elba who only come out at night and rattled furniture. He enjoyed Lena's company, not just because she was a ghost, but because they shared a few traits, and she was a really nice sim.
Time rolled on, Marcus still hadn't a book, and Casey, now registered as a professional Angler, hadn't been fishing in a long time. Even with Lilli helping to raise the babies during the day, and cooking for everybody, there never seemed to be enough time to sleep.
Dylan, Natalie, and Dominic finally grow out of the baby burrito stage and become toddlers!
Casey snaps her fingers, "Look at Daddy, Daddy's going to take a photo for the family album!".
*Snap*,*snap* "Dill, Nat, Dom, over here, look over here!" *Snap*,*snap*,*snap*
"That's better, Dom, over here, Dylan, take your hand out of your mouth"
"Good boy Dom, Nat, Dylan, look at me!, *Snap*, *snap*
"Awww, C'mon guys, we only need one good photo!", Casey implores.
"Seriously Dom? Get your finger out of your nose!"
"Boys, smile for Daddy!", Casey encourages.
"Dylan!", *Snap*, *snap*, "Look over here.", Casey tries again.
"Let's just forget about the photo and have some ice cream!" Suggests Marcus.
*CLICK*, "Hahaha, gotchas!", laughs Marcus, putting down the camera.
Marcus wonder why nobody has invented spaghetti flavored ice cream.
Later that night, Venice passes away in her sleep, and the Grim Reaper comes for the former rock goddess.
The Reaper expects Gypsy to beg for her mistresses soul, most dogs do, but Gypsy knows Venice' time is up, and that her mistress has been looking forward to a release from the constant pain for some time. Gypsy, who has reached a great age for a dog feels the same.
In an unusual twist, Venice begs the Grim not to take her dog, But the Grim has a job to do.
Lilli is inconsolable for days, and buys a very small block of land next to the park, opposite the house, and Venice and Gypsy are buried there.
Natalie shows Dominic how to howl, but he is no good at it.
Dominic shows Natalie how to bite the heads off dolls, they are both good at it.
The family occasionally see the ghost of Venice and Gypsy on the family burial plot. Venice has her normal hairstyle and is content. Gypsy misses terrorizing the postal workers. Casey often visits when the moon forces her to wolf out.
Chapter Notes:
Trying to get my hands on a reasonably modern PC or laptop atm, the graveyard pics took hours to cap, as every move of the camera caused things to vanish from view. It happens sometimes on the main lot or elsewhere in town, but in this small lot with only a few things in it, it happens constantly, I ended up deleting all the scenery from the lot and leaving just the two headstones.
Bonehilda, I didn't like the color of her current uniform, and used MC to edit it, for some bizarre reason I thought I might put Boney in a bikini, as she spends all her spare time harassing the children, or hanging out at the poolside bar. It did not work as intended. Any outfit other than her own uniform causes this.
