After Stephanie had finished eating, she talked to Natalie about her and Eric taking care of Elbert, should anything happen to her and Robert, as they 'weren't getting any younger'.
Elbert didn't mind visiting, except all the Jettstar kids could him uncle all the time instead of using his name, and there were so many of them, and they were so noisy!
"Hey Nick! Uncle Elbert is here! Come out and play!"
While the boys played upstairs, the girls took the opportunity to have the pool to themselves. They broke out the snorkeling gear and Sophia decided that they were going to have adventures looking for mermaids.
Lilly-Rose was the first to call it quits, the chemicals in the pool water irritated her leaves if the balance wasn't perfect. She decided to nibble on a salad, even though she didn't need food. Skitty listened patiently to Lilly-Rose lecture on the importance of fitting in and appearing normal.
Spooky Day rolled around, and although it was technically a holiday in Elba, Natalie had one client booked in for the day, and then spend the rest of the day roaming the town center giving out free readings to anyone who was interested.
Lilli was working in the garden when she saw Zoe, Pochi, Tigerlily, Belle and Chloe run past the yard. 'I wonder were they are off to in such a hurry?', Lil thought. She checked her watch, she needed to hurry, she had a party to go to. She quickly dialed Dean Smith's number and left a message that his dogs where free roaming, and went to get changed.
Lil drove, with Angel fidgeting in the passenger's seat. Angel didn't get out much, and it was her favorite day of the year.
Dom and Maggie were hosting a small costume party for spooky day, and to celebrate another event.
Lil knew everybody at the party. Between her scrapyard days and charity work, Lil knew just about everybody in Elba.
When Maggie finally finished making food and got dressed for the party, Lil realized the other reason to celebrate. Maggie and Dom, after trying for so long, were going to be parents.
In the afternoon, Natalie did housework, she didn't feel like celebrating Spooky Day, with her children, everyday was Spooky Day, but her parents were expecting her to host a Spooky Day party in the late afternoon.
A few of the class mates came to play, one in particular, Nancy Mombasa-Wulf, decided Nick was going to be her friend, whether he wanted to be or not. Nancy followed Nick around, constantly talking to him about school, and bugs, and clouds, and everything else she knew anything about until she found a topic that interested Nick. Nancy had a lot of female relatives, so she knew everything there was to know about boys, and while she wasn't interested in boyfriends or babies, she felt there was something irresistible about Nick, and she just had to have him as a friend.
It was nearly time for Nancy to go home, but before she did, she grabbed a torch and told Nick the story of 'The Great Two Headed White Deer Ghost Of Elba'.
After all the kids had gone home, Eric went out to play with Nick on the trampoline. "Nicks got a girlfriend, Nicks got a girlfriend!" Eric chanted as they bounced. "Daaad, stop! She's not my girlfriend", Nick complained. "Nicky's got a friend, Nicky's got a friend!", Eric continued, excited that his shy son had finally made a friend that he wasn't related to.
Lilly-Rose decided to cap her Spooky Day afternoon by working on her suntan, under the sprinklers.
The other maid showed up late for work, and Nathan was sure he spotted her brushing her teeth at the kitchen sink.
Margaret, Margarita's younger sister come to visit with her second baby. Despite now being pregnant, Maggie was secretly jealous, her little sister had two babies and washboard abs!
While Eric didn't expect to even be considered for another few years, he took his wife's advice from earlier in the day and applied early for the astronaut program.

I had played until most of the kids teened up, the first six were no problem, the last two, I had to use MC and cheats and cakes repeatedly, eventually the seventh popped. The last child refused to grow up, eventually my google-fu found a post somewhere by Crinrict that if the childs clothing had been corrupted, that would prevent aging up, so using MC, I tried to change the outfit to discover the only clothing option was 'singed', and that selecting it caused an error message.
So, back to a previous set of saves, loosing ten days ingame, all my notes on who was born, who died, are now irrelevant, and several story minor subplots are now in the wind. Also, I have about 50 screencaps that are now not in chronological order, so some juggling to do there.
Sooo., I do hereby humbly apologies to my 5 regular readers at this time, for being disorganized, lazy, late and somewhat incoherent. :)
